• Order your travel eSIM online and let us know your travel date. A day before our chose Activation date, you will receive an email with the QR Code and instruction steps. The instruction steps will provide detailed step by step instructions with screenshots on how to install your prepaid travel eSIM.
• When you land at your travel destination, follow the steps noted in the email and your eSIM will be ready to use.

Make sure that your device is eSIM compatibility. See our full list of compatible devices. Ensure that you have access to the eSIM email we have provided. You may wish to print this email out so you have a hard-copy of the eSIM. Please note that your 28 days of service will commence on the activation date noted on your order.

2)A day before our chose Activation date, you will receive an email with the QR Code and instruction steps. The instruction steps will provide detailed step by step instructions with screenshots on how to install your prepaid travel eSIM.

When you add the QR code noted in the email that is sent to you from SimCorner, you will receive a text to your phone noting the UK phone number.

The eSIM is a UK based sim, hence it will have a UK phone number.

If anyone outside of the UK is to call you on this number they will need to dial the UK country code which is +44 followed by your assigned UK number without the leading zero (i.e. +44 7xxxxxxxxx). You are not charged for incoming calls.

For example, if the phone number is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)

Yes, you are able to hotspot/tether from your phone to another phone or device whilst in the EU.

You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above.

Details about APN settings and other important information will be noted on the instruction sheet that will come accompanied with the sim.

The sim connects to different networks in different countries.

The features on the sim are valid for 28 days from activation.

This travel SIM cannot be recharged. If you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional SIMs based on your duration of travel and place an activation date approximately 30 days apart for each sim and change the sim over at the end of  30 days.

For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select 2 for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 30th September. Whilst on your travel, insert the first sim card to get connected and after 30 days all you need to do is swap the sims over to remain connected throughout your trip. (Please note: each sim card will have a different phone number). As long as you are aware your 30 days will begin from the activation date you provide for each sim, it's up to you what date you provide for each sim ensuring it covers you for your duration. It's fine to have services overlap.

• Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting.
• What phone model you are using?
• Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue. 

Should you run into any issues with the sim whilst overseas then we encourage you to email us immediately at support@simcorner.com and let us know the following information;

• Your order number or the name that the order is under along with the SIM number and phone number.
• Which country you are in currently and whether the sim connects to any network, if so, which network?
• Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message.
• Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting.

• Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue. 

The 500 minutes can ONLY be used to make local calls to standard landlines and mobiles within the country listed. For example, if you are in Spain you can only call standard Spain phone numbers. You cannot call an Italian number. If you are in Italy you can call standard Italy phone numbers, but not Spain number, etc.

If you wish to call any other international countries outside the covered countries, you will need to use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc . You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobile at the apps rates.

How can I call within country?

You need to include the country calling code prior to the phone number and drop the leading 0 if you wish to call. For example if you are in Spain and wish to call a Spain based number whose phone number is 08123456123 you would need to dial +348123456123.

Calling within the UK?

Whilst in the UK, the included 500 minutes can only be made to standard UK landline numbers (for the UK starting 01, 02, 03) and mobiles within the UK. Calls to other numbers including Premium rate, Business rate numbers and non-UK numbers are not included. 

How can I call and SMS outside of the EU?

If you wish to call any other international countries outside the EU such as Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, UK, USA etc, you will need to use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc . You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles at the apps rates.

If someone wishes to call you on your UK number they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK calling code of +44 regardless of which country you are in.

Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms.

We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a eSIM?

If your friends and family have have purchase the same eSIM option then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc .

If you are travelling to different countries that are noted on the "Countries Coverage" section, then all you need to do is restart your phone as you move from one country to another. The sim will automatically connect to a local carrier.

Yes, you will have access to all your apps, messages, contacts and emails whilst using this sim. Nothing on your phone is deleted or changed and you can continue to use your phone as per normal. The only change with using this sim is that you will have a new phone number.
