    In order to make international phone calls to any other countries, you will need to add credit to the sim card. You can only add credit whilst you are in the UK, at O2 stores, supermarkets, petrol stations and convenience stores. Unfortunately, you are unable to top-up online via the O2 website, as it requires a UK debit/credit card that is linked to a UK residential address.

    Alternatively, we recommend that you use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, etc to make international phone calls rather than adding credit for international calls.

    This UK Travel SIM Card (O2) plan will last 30 Days from activation. If you are staying longer than 30 days, you will need to recharge the sim. If you wish to add credit or recharge the sim you can only do this whilst you are in the UK, at O2 stores, supermarkets, petrol stations and convenience stores. Unfortunately, you are unable to top-up online via the O2's website, as it requires a UK debit/credit card that is linked to a UK residential address.

    However, we advise that you visit an O2 store when recharging, as this will ensure that the recharge has been done correctly and you have received the most appropriate plan.

    Alternatively, as another option if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, you can purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travels. If you are travelling for 56 days you can purchase 2 separate sim cards, and then swap them over at the end of each 30 day period.

    As soon as you receive you order, you must register your travel/activation date via the following link; https://simcorner.com/pages/registersim. The sim card will automatically activate based on the Activation Date that you provide. It is from this date that your 30 days of service will commence. It can take up to 24 hours for your activation date to be registered into the system, hence, we encourage that you complete this form as soon as possible.

    Should you wish to change the activation date after you have purchased, please contact us at support@simcorner.com at least 3 days prior to the noted activation date. Whilst using the sim card you will need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone.

    Going for longer than 30 Days?

    This UK Travel SIM Card plan will last 30 Days from activation. If you are staying longer than 30 days, you will need to recharge the sim. As mentioned above, if you wish to add credit or recharge the sim you can only do this whilst you are in the UK at O2 stores, supermarkets, petrol stations and convenience stores. Unfortunately, you are unable to top-up online via the O2 website, as it requires a UK debit/credit card that is linked to a UK residential address.

    However, we advise that you visit a O2 store when recharging, as this will ensure that the recharge has been done correctly and you have received the most appropriate plan.

    Alternatively, as another option if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, you can purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel and place the activation date approximately 30 days apart for each sim and swap the sim over at the end of 30 days.

    For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select 2 for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 30th September. Whilst on your travel, insert the first sim card to get connected and after 30 days all you need to do is swap the sims over to remain connected throughout your trip.     Your phone number can be found on the back of the sim packaging. The phone number starts with 07. The sim card is a UK based sim card, hence it will have a UK phone number. 

    Should anyone want to call you on your phone number, they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK country code +44 in front of the phone number,

    Firstly please check that the number you are dialling is a Standard Landline or Mobile. Premium rate or Business rate numbers are NOT included in the Unlimited Minutes and SMS.

    You must always use the correct prefixes  whenever making a call or sending an SMS to a local number.

    • For Landlines: (Area Code) (Land Phone Number) 
    • For Mobiles: Dial the number as per normal starting in 07

    If you need to call a rental company or tour provider, it is recommended to check with them before you depart to ensure it is standard local rate number. The included Unlimited minutes can only be made to standard UK landline numbers (for the UK starting 01, 02, 03).

    If you are unsure please contact us before you depart at support@simcorner.com or send us a message via the "Contact Us" page and we can let you the correct prefix.

    Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms.

    We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

    Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a sim card. 

    If your friends and family have have purchase the same sim card then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc .

    This UK Travel SIM Card (O2) plan will last 30 Days from activation. If you are staying longer than 30 days, you will need to recharge the sim. If you wish to add credit or recharge the sim you can only do this whilst you are in the UK, at O2 stores, supermarkets, petrol stations and convenience stores. Unfortunately, you are unable to top-up online via the O2's website, as it requires a UK debit/credit card that is linked to a UK residential address.

    However, we advise that you visit an O2 store when recharging, as this will ensure that the recharge has been done correctly and you have received the most appropriate plan.

    Alternatively, as another option if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, you can purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travels. If you are travelling for 56 days you can purchase 2 separate sim cards, and then swap them over at the end of each 30 day period.

    • Which country you are in currently and whether the sim card connects to any network, if so, which network?
    • Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim card? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message.
    • Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting.
    • What phone model you are using?
    • Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue.

    Firstly please check that the number you are dialling is a Standard Landline or Mobile. Premium rate or Business rate numbers are NOT included in the Unlimited Minutes and SMS.

    You must always use the correct prefixes  whenever making a call or sending an SMS to a local number.

    • For Landlines: (Area Code) (Land Phone Number) 
    • For Mobiles: Dial the number as per normal starting in 07

    If you need to call a rental company or tour provider, it is recommended to check with them before you depart to ensure it is standard local rate number. The included Unlimited minutes can only be made to standard UK landline numbers (for the UK starting 01, 02, 03).

    If you are unsure please contact us before you depart at support@simcorner.com or send us a message via the "Contact Us" page and we can let you the correct prefix.

    If someone wishes to call you on your UK number they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK calling code of +44 regardless of which country you are in.

    For example, if the phone number noted on the pack is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)

    Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms.

    We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

    Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a sim card. 

    If your friends and family have have purchase the same sim card then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc .

    Yes, you will have access to all your apps, messages, contacts and emails whilst using this sim card. Nothing on your phone is deleted or changed and you can continue to use your phone as per normal. The only change with using this sim card is that you will have a new phone number.
